Rin and Jason - Stanely Hotel Haunted Halloween Wedding

Rin and Jason - October 31, 2013 - Absolutely one of the most "Spooktacular" weddings of 2013!  Rin and Jayson met at the Stanley Hotel where their first date was spent indulging in their favorite hobby - Ghost Hunting!  They knew that between their adoration for the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park and their passion for costuming and Halloween, that their wedding had to be all wrapped up in a bow!  Their ceremony was held at dusk for the best in eerie lighting, and the site was the gorgeous Music Room.  We had some of our own surprises for the couple up our sleeves that included fog machines upon the wedding party's entrance to the theme from 'Phantom of the Opera', and the guest book table was decorated with bottles of potions to welcome guests.  Chairs were covered with black covers and tied with orange sashes, the aisle was lined with black wrought iron hooks holding raw silk bows and fresh flowers with branch accents and candles lit the way to the alter lined with a red carpet.  Flowers were left up to our designer Lorie, who knew that Rin's bouquet had to be a one of a kind creation - a scepter donned with red, orange and black roses, crystal and black accents, black netting, and the topper was a doorknob Lorie found on eBay from a haunted house in Pennsylvania.  Designed to dry and be a memorable keepsake and costume accessory for years to come!  The reception was transformed into an elegant Masquerade Ball where everyone donned masks. Tables were decorated with wrought iron pumpkins surrounding fresh flowers and candles galore... orange floor length linens with black cobweb overlays and flower tied napkins at each place setting.  The cake was surely the hit of the reception - a Rental Cake from Vows was created just for the occasion!  And the end of the night wouldn't have been complete without a 1am break from the reception to head to the 4th floor for a bit of ghost hunting!

Jennifer and Dustin - Della Terra Mountain Chateau Mountain Romance Wedding

Jennifer and Dustin - September 6, 2013 - There are few places that can compare for a stunning mountain wedding in Estes Park than Della Terra Mountain Chateau.  Jennifer and Dustin's wedding day theme was "Mountain Romance" and it was carried out in grand style!  With their wedding colors of a deep navy blue and silver, we used natural flowers such as the blue centers of the Anemones and the silver/gray tones in Dusty Miller and Brazilian Berries to accent white garden roses and we had painted roses with a shimmery peach shade to add a touch of color.  Jennifer's bouquet was a stunning display of Peonies (literally we located the LAST to be found in the world since they are out of season in August!).  Lorie matched Jen's dress and jewelry and designed jeweled accents to finish the wrap in her bouquet, tying together all of the colors and shapes seamlessly!   It was our official use of our hand crafted Amish flower girl carriage in all of Estes Park - decorated to match the wedding party flowers and signs with "Here Comes the Bride" and "Just Married" were hung from the back of the wagon. Ceremony flowers included hanging lanterns decorated with fresh flowers and greens and to save costs, those flowers were transported to the reception and placed on alternating guest tables.  The remaining tables were dressed in our new black wrought iron trees with floral arrangements of the base of the tables and topped in candles and flower petals.  One of our favorites is our new "Wedding Bench" - have your guests sign this wooden bench and after the wedding finish it with a sealer and you have a beautiful furniture accent to remember your wedding day!!

Laura and Anthony - Country Chic Wedding

Laura and Anthony - August, 2013 - How fun, albeit terrifying, to hear the words "I don't know what I want so just surprise me" come out of a bride's mouth... especially when she LITERALLY means "I don't want to know what it will look like until I see it on my wedding day"!  Laura knew the look she was wanting - "Country Chic" as we call it - and the colors she adored, and so from that we created this wedding day that got the reactions it did in her photos (They say a photo is worth a thousand words... so we like to think from these we got it "JUST RIGHT"...)  Laura's flowers were country and mountain and romance all rolled up in one... white peonies, miniature green hydrangeas, soft pink calla lilies, Queen Anne's lace and soft peach garden roses accented with dusty miller and wrapped in burlap, vintage lace and twine with a burlap ruffle and antique brooch.  Our Aspen Arch and the aisle were decorated to coordinate using silk and latex flowers to safe on costs.  The reception boasted vintage mason jars with fresh flowers, aspen and pine wood candles, twigs, petals and votives.  We decorated the fireplace as well, utilizing the bridesmaid's flowers in vases to again save on costs.  Laura and Anthony used our "Country Chic" rental wedding cake and ther cake table was decorated to match the theme.

Lisel and Aaron - Falling In Love at Della Terra Mountain Chateau

Lisel and Aaron, August, 2013 - Della Terra Mountain Chateau, Estes Park - Lisel and Aaron celebrated their fall themed nuptials at Della Terra.  The bridesmaids wore burnt orange dresses and the groomsmen were in striking black tuxedos.  Flowers were fall themed with oranges and reds using roses, calla lilies and gerbera daisies - Lisel's favorite flower!  We accented her bouquets with bear grass loops and the men's boutonnieres were calla lilies with metallic orange finishes.  They sealed their union using one of our new Anniversary Boxes - a new favorite for unity ceremonies!  Their reception flowers were striking red and orange rose arrangements in black vases - an elegant touch!

Desi and Beau - Country Romance Themed Wedding

and Beau - June 23, 2013 - This precious couple came from Texas to make their fairytale wedding dreams come true!  Desi's vision was a romantic garden themed wedding with rustic 'Colorado' accents.  Their ceremony site was the on the shore of Lily Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park with Mount Meeker and Lily Mountain towering over as their backdrop.  Their ceremony was accented with our aspen arch with floral decor, a burlap and canvas aisle runner and rustic lanterns hanging from Sheppard's hooks and mason jars with peonies and baby's breath lined her pathway to her prince charming.  Desi carried a bouquet of hand tied pink and ivory peonies with queen anne's lace, green hydrangeas, pink and ivory roses and was finished off with a burlap, lace and twine with an antique cameo as it's finishing touch.  Her 5 bridesmaids all carried bouquets of babies breath that while the same shape and size, were all finished in their own unique way with raffia, twine wrapping, antique lace, etc.  Desi and Beau's reception was held at Mary's Lake Lodge and their theme was carried out through the reception with table decor of multiples of vintage mason jars filled with peonies, wild flowers, baby's breath and vintage roses.  We used burlap table runners, Aspen cut candles and lots of petals and votives to give an antique glow.  Her cake was a vintage/rustic style with our 'Texas' themed cake stand made of reclaimed barnwood and antique barbed wire.  Her cake and guest book table were covered in vintage lace table linens with burlap accents.  The day was beautiful, the couple adorable and they fell in love with Colorado so much that they plan to move here in 2013!  Congrats to you and your families Desi and Beau!

Ashley and Brent - Bold and Beautiful Summer Wedding

Ashley and Brent - June 10, 2013 - After a wild adventure making it TO their wedding (Ashley's limousine from Denver broke down along the way from over heating which required the girls to HITCH HIKE to Estes Park - and the bus carrying the rest of their guests getting lost in town) They shook it all off and celebrated their love in true Colorado style!!  Their wedding was held in the beautiful Forever Garden at Mary's Lake Lodge in Estes with a reception in the rustic Grand Room of Mary's Lake.  It was all about COLOR with the bridesmaids adorned in beautiful electric blue dresses - bouquets of Yellow, Red, Orange and Hot Pink Gerbera Daisies, Mango Calla Lilies, Yellow and Orange Roses.  The color theme was also reflected in the reception where we provided guest table arrangements of brightly colored wild flowers with aspen leaves and sprays of bear grass.
